Pasadena, California | Spanish Colonial Revival

The renovation and expansion of this Pasadena residence included adding a basement with a media room, and renovating a master suite,  kitchen and outdoor living spaces. To add a bedroom and bath, we employed our understanding of the materials and building methods of older homes to ensure the new spaces complemented the existing 1921 architecture.  The kitchen and outdoor spaces serve today’s more modern lifestyle. Cooking and conversation are no longer relegated to the indoors with the outdoor barbecue, fireplace and multiple seating nooks designed to take advantage of Southern California's temperate climate.
