Comstock Residence
This sprawling traditional home in the Holmby Hills neighborhood of Los Angeles had seen better days when Chelsea was called upon to gut and renovate the main house and pool house. Respecting the architectural integrity of the home while bringing it into the 21st Century was of paramount importance. By reworking the Maid’s room and laundry, the kitchen was expanded to better suit today’s lifestyle. The pool house was fitted with an indoor/outdoor kitchen and dining area as well as recreation room with a bar for optimal entertaining. One of the coolest requirements of the program included retaining the speakeasy bar hidden behind a bookshelf in the family room rumored to have been frequented by the Rat Pack back in the day.
